Exploring the Nantes vineyards

Follow this tourist trail to explore the fabulous wine-growing region around Nantes.

This wine tour enables visitors to discover some exceptional natural sites, heritage features and picturesque villages, complete with some unusual wine cellars.
The itinerary features several stop-offs and gradually takes you to the south of the River Loire.  

FROM NANTES TO CLISSON : TRAVEL THROUGH THE VINEYARDS

Travel Through the Vineyards is a route featuring 11 stop-offs, which you can explore at your leisure using the handy guide drafted by Nantes Tourisme. The route offers an introduction to wine-growing in and around Nantes through visits to various wine cellars and estates managed by passionate wine-growers. You will also have the opportunity to explore the Château du Coing, the Château de Goulaine and the town of Clisson, which is nicknamed “La Petite Toscane” (Little Tuscany).
