The Summer Trip to Nantes 2026
Every summer, Nantes is transformed into an open-air museum thanks to "Voyage à Nantes."
This iconic event attracts visitors from around the world who come to admire the urban itinerary punctuated by contemporary works of art, unusual installations, and unique cultural events.
This 15th edition, themed around Earth, will take place from July 4 to September 6, 2026 throughout the city of Nantes.
Don't miss this summer event to discover or (re)discover Nantes from a new perspective.
This summer, the streets, squares, parks, even some unexpected places in Nantes are adorned with contemporary creations.
The Voyage Estival art trail in Nantes stretches for several kilometers across some forty unusual stops, guided by the famous green line painted on the ground and reinvented each year.
For this 2026 edition, French and international artists will take over public spaces with often spectacular, sometimes ephemeral, works in direct dialogue with the city and its inhabitants.
While the 2026 program is not yet fully revealed, the event is already shaping up to be rich and surprising!
The objective remains the same as in previous years: to transform the city into a true playground for artistic exploration where every street becomes an invitation to wonder.
This 15th edition marks the launch of a new cycle dedicated to the elements, with its first theme: Earth.
Both the foundational material and the symbol of life, it inspires sensitive and immersive installations throughout the city.
New creations will also occupy iconic and more unexpected locations, such as the Jardin Extraordinaire (Extraordinary Garden) and the crypts of Saint-Pierre Cathedral.
The Interstellar exhibition will complement the program by exploring a more cosmic and symbolic dimension of the theme.
Under the artistic direction of Jean Blaise, this edition explores the uncanny through works that challenge perceptions and invite us to see the city in a new light.
Free and accessible to all, the Voyage à Nantes is aimed at art lovers, families, and the curious alike.
Numerous concerts, screenings, and performances will enliven the city throughout the event. This is the perfect opportunity to explore the city in a different way, in a friendly and creative atmosphere.
