A beautiful exhibition dedicated to the Nantes-based company LU!
Make the most of your stay at the Best Western Atlantys Hotel to visit this exhibition not to be missed! Until 16 May 2021, the LU exhibition is on display at the château des Ducs de Bretagne. You will know everything about the Petit Beurre LU, the fascinating story of a brand, a family, a Nantes emblem...
LU: a century of innovation (1846-1957)
For more than a century, innovation and creativity have been the watchwords of the famous Nantes LU brand of biscuits, from the birth of the biscuit factory in 1846 to the creation of the famous logo in 1957.
See you until May 2021 at the château des ducs de Bretagne. The History Museum contains the largest collection of LU objects in France: more than 1500 objects and many originals linked to the history of the LU company. The collection is mainly made up of donations from the founders of the biscuit factory, the Lefèvre-Utile family.
This year and for the first time, find new objects recently acquired at a private collection auction in Paris.
Drawings of biscuits, such as the emblematic Petit Beurre with 4 ears and 52 teeth, advertisements made by the greatest artists of the time... This exhibition will allow you to discover or rediscover the universe of the famous LU brand thanks to objects, drawings or paintings, most of which have never been publicly exhibited! In addition, a biscuit scent will be recreated in the exhibition space.
